WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has reportedly revealed that WWE will have two pay-per-view events monthly, one for Raw and one for Smackdown when the brand split goes into full effect next month. This news comes from a reader of ProWrestling.net, so this news should be taken with a grain of salt.
Jeff Wyatt who attended the 38th Annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois noted that Jerry “The King” Lawler made his annual appearance Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois and said that WWE would have two pay-per-view events monthly, one for Raw and one for Smackdown. This would happen except for the big four events (WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and Survivor Series).
It should be noted that Lawler claimed earlier this year that Smackdown was going to live and even though it took half of year to come true, maybe Lawler is right about this as well.
Obviously, things and ideas can change and will over the next two months as Vince McMahon and the WWE creative team goes through all the things that will come of this brand split.
