Last night on Monday Night Raw, The Ball Family made an appearance. If you’re not familiar with The Balls, Lonzo Ball was a top draft pick in this years NBA Draft. He was drafted to the Los Angeles Lakers. His father, LaVar Ball, has made himself famous somehow by being outspoken about the talent of his son.
There is also another Ball. LaMelo. LaMelo is the youngest of the bunch & is a highly recruited basketball player.
During the appearance on the most must see talk show in WWE history, MizTV, The Ball Family took to the ring to not only promote Lonzo’s first live appearance in LA’s Staples Center as a Laker, but to promote their “Big Baller Brand.”
The cameo was a mess from Jump Street, but it really went array when LaVar handed the microphone to his youngest son, LaMelo.
LaVar proceeded to dance around the ring in a very haphazard way like he was going to fight The Miz with his shirt off, while LaMelo went on to say, “Beat that n**** ass!” Not once…but TWICE!
WWE issued the following statement:
“The inappropriate language used by a guest during the ‘Miz TV’ segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE’s values.”
