Simon Gotch of The Vaudevillains has been released by WWE.
Gotch has been the topic of controversy in the past because of his conduct backstage. A number of months ago, the former NXT Tag Team Champion was involved in a legitimate backstage fight with Sin Cara, which was said to have been started by Gotch.
Here is WWE’s official statement on his release:
“WWE has come to terms on a mutually agreed upon release with Simon Gotch as of today, April 5, 2017. WWE wishes Gotch the best in all his future endeavors.”
