Earlier today, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns was suspended by WWE due to failing their wellness policy. He will be suspended for 30 days.
But, Dave Meltzer reported today on a breaking news audio on F4WOnline.com that WWE knew about the violation before last Sunday’s WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
It was noted that top officials knew about the violation before the Battleground main event was announced on last night’s RAW, which would indicate that WWE may still go ahead with the match as planned, even though he wouldn’t be able to appear on any television before the pay-per-view.
It’s being reported that WWE will write Roman Reigns off TV, but he will have to appear on Raw or SmackDown for creative to do that, so it’ll be interesting to see how exactly they explain this in storyline.
Details about this situation are still new, so we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
