THE NEW DAY ARE BABYFACES
It is no secret that the trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E. and Xavier Woods are entertaining as all hell with their in-ring promos and out of the ring sketches on social media. They were on their A-Game tonight with their promo before their tag match, running down the entire League of Nations faction as well as promoting their own cereal “Booty-O’s”. I found their promo highly funny and the Toronto crowd was into it as well.
Despite the match being technically “heel team A vs. heel team B”, The New Day was getting cheered like babyfaces before, during and after the match, which was solid I might add.
It’s safe to say the New Day is the top babyface tag team on the roster because they are too entertaining. Why not just pull the trigger and officially turn them as they have beaten all the baby face teams? You can have them feud with the likes of The Wyatt Family, The Ascension, and The Dudleys, who just turned heel. I can easily see New Day lose at WrestleMania in a match consisting of multiple teams without getting pinned to keep them strong. I see money in New Day chasing the championships as babyfaces. Sorry, Fantasy Booking moment there.
