WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes and NXT talent Tommaso Ciampa will both be starting a charity campaign to honor independent wrestler Kris Travis, who passed away on March 31st from cancer. All of the proceeds raised will be donated to Cavendish Cancer Care in Travis’ name.

Details on the campaign are still forthcoming. Here’s a tweet from Cody Rhodes:

  1. Ciampa was so good in ROH – can’t believe he spit in their face and left, to go to a poorly managed company, that puts out a poor product that is nothing like the NWA in the 80’s.

    Lost all respect for him.

TNA is the best brand in the biz.

I have mad respect for ROH and NJPW too – Ross and Barnett are gold.

I don’t care for Lucha – it is a sitcom.

  2. Did you ever notice WWE has the worst announcers?

Ross and Barnett are awesome – JR is JR again after leaving the PG kids’ company.

    Josh and Pope are awesome.

Kelly and Corino just may be the best of them all.

Michael Cole and JBL and that other guy are terrible.

I started hating WWE right after WM26 – Nexus and the Cole/JR feud REALLY got me hating WWE along with the PG.

    But Michael Cole?

I never could stand him – he always looked like a pedophile to me with that creepy smile, and that he looked down on wrestling fans, and is above them, and that WEIRD smile and fake laugh of his that is SOOOOOO fake.

    But yeah – I love Ross/Barnett/ Kelly/Corino, and Pope/Josh.

    Good stuff.

  3. It is amazing that ROH Global Wars is in like 3 weeks (I will be there),

and NOTHING is announced for it yet – and it is an iPPV.

    I’m shocked.
